The YDF offers Grant Management services to administer, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of grants and programs. We analyze potential projects, conduct in-depth due diligence, and ensure that principal grant recipients achieve successful implementation and project sustainability.
The Grants Program for Youth-Led Initiatives, in conjuction with the YDF’s Youth Participation & Child Protection program, UNICEF, and the Agency for Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), is one of the schemes that falls under the oversight of YDF Grant Management. To date, 13 youth-led projects to promote community development, environment protection, youth empowerment, and child protection have been funded across Bhutan.
In addition, the YDF has managed grants from the major development agencies and partners, such as the Austrian Development Agency and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, to support civil society organizations (CSOs) and local groups in Bhutan, thereby building the capacity of civil society to collaboratively work towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
YDF oversees the grant-making process to ensure all our partners’ and donors’ contributions are handled efficiently. Once a program receives funding, we conduct consistent monitoring to ensure that each program achieves quantifiable results.
Through YDF’s Grant Management work, we support and enable effective governance and grant performance to create sustainable social impact in the youth communities we serve.
