๐๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ, ๐ต๐๐ต ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ โ Her Majesty Queen Mother Tseyring Pem Wangchuck, President of the Bhutan Youth Development Fund (YDF), was conferred an ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ by ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ต ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ (๐ ๐จ), ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต in recognition of Her Majestyโs remarkable contributions to youth development in Bhutan. The honorary degree was presented during a prestigious graduation ceremony held in Australia on 9th February 2025.
๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐บ๐ถ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐๐ผ๐บ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ต๐๐ฐ๐ธ, ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ of YDF, graced the occasion alongside ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ช๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ต๐๐ฐ๐ธ and ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ด๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ด๐บ๐ฒ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ต๐๐ฐ๐ธ. They were accompanied by senior officials from YDF and representatives from the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Canberra.
Established in 1999, the Bhutan Youth Development Fund is one of Bhutanโs oldest non-governmental organizations. For over 25 years, YDF has remained dedicated to empowering the youth of Bhutan, fostering meaningful partnerships, and creating lasting positive change.
