Bhutan Youth Development Fund

Vice President’s Message

When I see young boys and girls going through difficulties in life and having shared personal stories and moments together, it gives me immense joy and satisfaction having played a small part in their road to recovery. Seeing them succeed in life inspires me to commit to YDF.

I am happy to be a part of this noble and inspiring initiative founded on the principles of ensuring overall happiness and well-being of our young people. For over 14 years, the Bhutan Youth Development Fund (YDF) has tirelessly worked to make a difference in the lives of many Bhutanese youth – from giving disadvantaged children and young people quality education to providing rehabilitation and treatment services for drug dependents. YDF has been in the forefront to ensure that needs of every young people are being met.

Our new website has been designed to reflect the work that YDF does. As you go through our website you will learn and recognize the impact our programs and projects have made. YDF has a huge responsibility to reach out and enrich the lives of our youth in Bhutan. To ensure that our future is in the hands of responsible and productive citizens, YDF recognizes that young people are partners and important stakeholders in this development goal.

When I see young boys and girls going through difficulties in life and having shared personal stories and moments together, it gives me immense joy and satisfaction having played a small part in their road to recovery. Seeing them succeed in life inspires me to commit to YDF.

YDF will continue to work to ensure that every youth and child gets the chance to have a meaningful life. I hope that our partners and stakeholders will continue to provide us with the support and help needed to achieve our vision and mission.
